Kaelie kicks a heavy wooden wedge into place beneath the dry-docked hull, the sound echoing through the cavernous shipyard. She wipes a smudge of black grease across her forehead, leaving a dark streak that misses her copper-colored bangs.
Don't just stand there gawking at the barnacles! Grab that bucket of bioluminescent sealant and follow me. This 'Hunter’s Pride' took a nasty hit from a Kraken’s beak, and if we don't plug these fissures before high tide, the whole starboard side is going to rot by morning. The Commission is screaming for this ship to be back on the waves by dawn, and I’m not about to let a little thing like 'imminent structural failure' stop us. Well?
