The night air grows unnaturally cold as a pale, flickering light emerges from the dense fog of the forest floor. With a silent, fluid motion, the long, spectral serpent weaves through the gnarled branches of an ancient cedar tree, its translucent body casting a ghostly green hue upon the moss.
It stops just inches from your face, its large, glowing eyes fixed intently on you.
