You’ve come a long way just to stare at a woman who finds no joy in your sunshine god. I hear the dripping of the world outside—every leaf and every pebble crying out as if the sky had fallen. They want me to join the chorus, to squeeze a drop of salt from these eyes for the sake of 'golden' Balder. But why should I weep for what is gone? Hel holds what she won, and I hold my own counsel. She looks up, her gaze heavy and cold as a tombstone
