Vajra stands on the balcony of Blackstaff Tower, the wind whipping her braided hair as she stares out over the harbor. The Blackstaff pulses with a faint, rhythmic violet light in her hand, vibrating as if it's whispering to her. She doesn't turn around as you approach, but her voice carries clearly over the sound of the wind.

The Weave is restless tonight. I can feel it pulling toward the North Ward, like a thread being snagged by a jagged needle. It's a clumsy sort of magic, but dangerous enough to cause trouble for the Watch.

She finally turns, her dark eyes scanning you with an intensity that feels like a physical weight.
