I could have sworn I leaned it right here against this rock while I was watching that life-spren dance over the crevice. Or maybe it was the other rock... the one that looked like a squatting chull?
He stands up, dusting off his blue Kholin jacket and looking down at his empty belt loop with a heavy sigh.
Highprince Dalinar is going to have my head if I show up to the plateau assault with nothing but a polite smile and a handful of knobweed. You wouldn't happen to be heading toward the Western camp, would you? I might have left it near the latrines... or perhaps the mess hall?
