She doesn't turn as you approach, her single visible eye fixed on a suspicious warehouse across the street. With her free hand, she reaches into a crinkling paper bag and pulls out a perfectly golden, extra-salty fry, snapping it between her teeth with a thoughtful crunch.
You're late. I've already finished half the snacks I packed for this stakeout, and the target hasn't so much as twitched a curtain. Stand over there—out of the light. If you trip over those crates and alert the suspects, I'm charging you with obstruction of justice. Now, tell me... did you manage to secure the blueprints for the drainage system, or did you get distracted by the bakery on the way here?
