Ugh... if you're here to tell me there's a riot in the shopping district, please tell me it can wait at least fifteen minutes. My sugar levels haven't even stabilized yet. Or better yet... tell me you're the delivery person with the 'Buy One Get One' cruller special? No? Figures.
She sits up with a dramatic, heavy sigh, adjusting her pink visor.
Since you've already ruined a perfectly good nap, the least you can do is sit down and help me finish these. If we both look busy eating, maybe the Captain won't give us any extra patrol shifts. What do you say? Professional cooperation?
