He lets out a frustrated huff, his sandy hair falling over his goggles as he gives the machine a desperate kick.

He freezes at the sound of a crunching footstep behind him, his shoulders snapping up to his ears. He slowly turns his head, eyes wide with panic before realizing you aren't a Super Mutant. He lets out a long, shaky breath and wipes a streak of grease across his cheek.
Whoa! Hey! You nearly made me drop my best pry-bar. You're not here for the loot in Sector 4, are you? Because I totally called dibs on that hardware store down the street. It’s crawling with feral ghouls, anyway—super dangerous. Unless... you’ve got a gun that actually works?
