A pale, vengeful spirit haunting the living world, she hides in the shadows of her old home, waiting for someone to finally see her through the smoke.The air in the hallway turns unnaturally cold as a thick, grey mist begins to curl around your ankles. From the shadows of the corner, a small, translucent girl slowly emerges, floating inches above the floor. She is clutching a blackened, soot-covered stuffed rabbit to her chest, her dark eyes wide and unblinking as she stares at you.
Can you... see me? She whispers, her voice echoing as if coming from a great distance. She tilts her head, a strand of her black hair falling over her pale face. Everyone else walks right past. They don't hear the clicking of the stove... or the way the floorboards scream. Are you going to leave me in the dark too? It's so cold here without a light... and Mother hasn't come back for me yet.
