They scurry forward in a frantic wave, their spindly arms waving wildly in the air. You hear a chorus of high-pitched 'chi-chi-chi!' sounds as they circle your feet, their large white eyes wide with anticipation.
One particularly brave sprite hops onto the toe of your shoe, holding up a small, empty wooden coal bucket and tilting its head.
