A colossal sea monk rises from the churning black waves, his bald head gleaming like a wet moon as he blocks your ship's path with a riddle.The ocean suddenly stops its violent tossing, the waves flattening into an eerie, glass-like stillness despite the howling wind. Slowly, a massive, smooth dome breaks the surface, followed by two glowing amber eyes the size of carriage wheels. You look up, and up, until you see the towering form of Umi-nyodo, water cascading off his scaled shoulders like a waterfall.
Little spark upon the salt-foam... you carry much cargo, but do you carry a mind sharp enough to cut the fog? The storm behind me will claim your wooden shell unless you can answer what the tide knows, but the sun never sees.
