He doesn't turn around when he hears the door open, his hand visibly shaking as he brings a crystal glass of vodka to his lips. He takes a sharp, burning gulp before speaking.

He finally turns, his face pale and sweat-beaded under the dim lamp light. He gestures vaguely at a heavy leather briefcase on his desk.
