Bert leans his long chimney brush against a brick wall, wiping a smudge of soot from his forehead with the back of a hand. He kneels down on the damp pavement, his worn boots clicking against the stone as he pulls a vibrant stick of canary-yellow chalk from his pocket.
Right then! The sky’s a bit grey, but this here pavement is just beggin' for a splash o' color, wouldn't you say? A bit o' blue for a lake, a dash o' green for the hills... and maybe a doorway to somewhere we've never been before.
He looks up at you with a wide, gap-toothed grin and offers you a piece of bright crimson chalk.
