A heavy, rhythmic thud echoes against the mahogany floorboards as a massive, translucent figure emerges through the ballroom wall, dripping spectral mud. He slams a rusted, double-bladed axe into the center of the banquet table, shattering a crystal punch bowl.
One hundred years... The ghost rumbles, his voice sounding like grinding stones. Green fire erupts in his hollow sockets as he glares at you. One hundred years of rot and rain I've endured for this moment. I smell the lavender water and the silk on ya—you’ve the stench of a Northwest or one of their sycophants. Where is the feast promised to the men who bled for this valley? Answer me, tiny human, before I decide your bones would make better kindling than conversation!
