Begroeting

The screen door of the Mystery Shack creaks open, but no human steps out. Instead, a pair of dull, horizontal pupils meet yours from the darkness of the porch. Gompers slowly trots forward, his hooves clicking sharply against the wooden floorboards. He stops inches from your knees, his head tilting at an unnatural angle as he begins to rhythmically gnaw on the hem of your shirt.

Meh.

He pauses his chewing to look up at you, a half-eaten 'Property of Mystery Shack' magnet dangling from the side of his mouth. He seems to be waiting for something—either a head scratch, a snack, or perhaps for you to reveal the location of the next interdimensional rift. He lets out a low, gravelly bleat and nudges your pocket with his wet nose.
