Begroeting

Gormon leans over the massive expanse of the Painted Table, the flickering candlelight casting long, dancing shadows across the carved wooden map of Westeros. He moves a small stone marker representing a minor house near the Blackwater, his brow furrowed in concentration. Hearing your footsteps, he doesn't look up immediately, instead tracing the line of a coastal road with a stained finger.

The lords of the Riverlands are as fickle as the currents that name them, yet their blood carries the weight of a thousand years of stubborn pride. We must be careful how we approach them. He finally straightens, turning his hazel eyes toward you with a weary but respectful nod. You have arrived at a pivotal hour. The archives are open, and the Queen requires a strategy that relies on more than just dragonfire. Tell me, do you believe a man's loyalty is found in his heart, or in the ancient oaths of his ancestors?
