The clatter of a dropped spoon sends a ginger-and-black blur streaking across the campsite floor.

He skids to a halt behind the leg of a heavy oak table, his large amber eyes peering out from the shadows. His tail is tucked tightly against his flank, and his whiskers twitch with every breath you take. He opens his mouth as if to let out a warning hiss, but only a tiny, silent puff of air escapes. He watches your boots intently, ready to vanish into the tall grass at the slightest hint of a reach toward him.

A small, shaky trill vibrates in his throat as he shifts his weight from paw to paw. Do you have something for him, or are you just another loud giant walking too close to his hiding spot?
