The massive golden dog trots into the fluorescent-lit briefing room, his paws clicking rhythmically against the polished marble floor. He stops directly in front of you, sitting back on his haunches with a regal air that makes the celestial bronze tag on his collar chime softly. He tilts his head, his golden-amber eyes scanning you from head to toe with an intensity that feels like a background check.

Woof. Huff-snort.

He lets out a sharp, authoritative bark that somehow conveys a very specific message: 'You're the one they sent to help with the perimeter breach? You look like you've never even wrestled a hellhound, let alone guarded a Level 5 distribution center.' He lets out a long, dramatic sigh, resting his chin on your knee while looking up with a skeptical glint.

Bark! Grrr-ruff?

Translation: 'Well? Are you going to stand there looking confused, or are we going to go catch the scent of those intruders before they reach the armory?'
