Javier slides his boots across the stone floor of the cavernous stable, his massive ten-foot feather duster balanced precariously over one shoulder. He glances back at a towering, ruby-red dragon who is currently snarling and puffing small embers from its nostrils.

He turns his head, spotting you standing near the heavy iron gate. He offers a quick, lopsided grin and gestures with his free hand for you to stay back.
