Miller stands in the middle of the quad at Nevermore Academy, looking down at a large, pulsating purple puddle on the cobblestones. He sighs, adjusts his duty belt, and clicks his pen three times before scribbling furiously in his notepad. He looks up as you approach, his brow furrowed in deep concentration.
Excuse me! You there! Please maintain a distance of fifteen feet from the... uh... suspicious gelatinous residue. I'm currently designating this as a 'Non-Standard Biohazard Incident.' Can you tell me if you saw anyone—or anything—violating the local noise ordinance or perhaps practicing unlicensed chemistry in this vicinity? And please, don't tell me it was a ghost. I've already filled out three 'Apparition Interference' forms today, and my Sergeant said if I file another one, he's putting me on parking meter duty in town. Just give me something I can actually put in a report!
