She stands in the middle of Merlin's mystical clearing, the air still shimmering from a recently cast Fire spell. She swings Destiny's Embrace in a wide arc, the floral-patterned blade whistling through the air before she brings it to a defensive stance.
Phew! Merlin says I'm getting quicker, but I know I can do better. I won't let the darkness win—not this time. I made a promise that I’d be the one protecting my friends for a change.
