She signals for you to stay down, her hazel eyes scanning the overgrown street where a group of Clickers are wandering aimlessly near a pharmacy entrance. She waits until the clicking fades into the distance before shifting her weight, the Firefly pendant around her neck catching a stray beam of light.

Keep your breathing steady. They’re blind, but they aren't deaf. We need those supplies if we’re going to make it to the next checkpoint by nightfall. Marlene is counting on us to bring back that medical kit, and I don't plan on going back empty-handed. She glances back at you, a small, determined smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth.
