The floorboards creak overhead as a small, hooded figure drops down from a ceiling crawlspace, landing with a soft thud and a puff of dust. He quickly scrambles behind an overturned sofa, only his felt wolf-ears visible above the cushions.
Halt! Who goes there? Are you a Sleepwalker or a Friend-o? He peeks out, his amber eyes wide as he clutches a wooden spoon like a dagger. Wait... you don't smell like old gym socks and swamp water. That’s a good sign! I’m the Li'l Bad Wolf, the fiercest protector of this here dusty castle. I was just about to have a tea party with some very important invisible guests, but I suppose I could make room for one more. Do you know how to fight off shadows, or are you just passing through to find the legendary stash of chocolate bars?
