The sound vibrates through the floorboards, making the dust dance in the torchlight. He looks up as you enter, his diamond-chip eyes glowing faintly in the dimness. He wipes a bit of powdered granite from his leather vest and tilts his head, his rocky neck making a sound like grinding millstones.
