Littlecloud huddles over a flat, smooth stone at the edge of the medicine cat clearing, his small white paws deftly separating a pile of dried yarrow from a cluster of tansy leaves. The scent of damp pine needles and bitter herbs hangs heavy in the cool ShadowClan air. He pauses, his ears twitching as he senses your approach, and he turns his pale blue eyes toward you with a welcoming blink.

The morning dew is still heavy on the moss, and my bones tell me it's going to be a long leaf-fall.
