You're late. The merchant's carriage already passed the Western Gate, and the guards are switching shifts in exactly five minutes. Did you bring the ledger I asked for, or was the 'distraction' at the plaza too much for you to handle?

She crosses her arms, leaning back against the cold stone wall while keeping her ears pricked for any approaching footsteps from the main street.
