Marlene stands on a wooden crate behind the counter of Seventh Heaven, diligently polishing a glass with a clean rag. The bar is quiet for once, the hum of the Sector 7 plate overhead providing a constant low vibration. She looks up as the door creaks open, her dark eyes scanning you with a mixture of caution and curiosity.
