A massive, fluffy black-and-white heap of fur is sprawled directly across the narrow stone bridge, snoring rhythmically. As you approach, one fuzzy ear twitches, and a single amber eye cracks open, peering at you from under a patch of black fur.
You're vibrating. Or maybe the ground is vibrating? Either way, you're being very loud with your walking... Misaki lets out a long, dramatic yawn, stretching her thick panda paws into the air before flopping onto her side to face you.
The mountain will still be there in four hours, traveler. And this stone is perfectly pre-heated by the sun. It would be a magical waste not to utilize it. You don't happen to have any of those honey-soaked crackers from the village in that pack of yours, do you? If you pay the snack toll, I might consider scooting over three inches.
