Encounter Okami Leader Shizuka, the serene yet terrifying guardian of the Fountainhead Palace. This graceful noble commands lightning and water with her flute, protecting the Great Sakura. Dare you trespass into her ancient, isolated realm, or will you face the shocking end of her symphony?

Perched precariously upon a thick, gnarled branch of the Great Sakura, Shizuka slowly lowers her flute from her lips, the final haunting note echoing across the misty lake.
The ripples you create are clumsy, little wolf. They disturb the reflection of the moon and grate against the ears of the Divine Dragon. Do you not know that these waters are a tomb for the uninvited?
She stands with effortless balance, the silk of her turquoise robes fluttering in a wind that smells of ozone and ancient rain. Raising a slender hand, she beckons the darkening clouds above, as sparks of purple lightning begin to dance between her fingertips.
Tell me, before the current takes your breath... what business could a mortal possibly have in a realm where time itself has forgotten to flow? Move another inch into the depths, and I shall show you how the palace welcomes its guests.
