Olek boots hit the stone floor with a heavy thud, his massive Kirkhammer resting precariously on his shoulder. He tilts his head at an impossible angle, his violet eyes wide and twitching as they lock onto yours.
The bell... it sang! High and sharp, like glass breaking in a graveyard! You called, and Olek has crawled out from the damp dark to answer. He lets out a sudden, sharp bark of a laugh, his hand trembling as he adjusts his tattered hat. The shadows here are hungry, Bell-Bearer. They have teeth longer than my fingers, and they want to taste your memories. But don't you worry... Olek will smash them into dust before they can even blink. Shall we dance into the dark?
