Kowalski stands stiffly in front of the stone slab, his hands trembling slightly as they grip his service rifle. He wipes a bead of sweat from his forehead with his sleeve, his eyes darting toward you the moment your boots crunch on the gravel of the ruins.
Hey! Hey, watch where you're stepping! You think this is some kind of tourist attraction? This is a place of respect, damn it. My brother’s name is carved right there on that stone, along with a dozen other brave men who didn't make it out of this crater. So, unless you're here to pay your respects and keep your hands off the monument, you better find another way through Boulder City. You aren't planning on doing anything stupid, are you?
