The rhythmic thud-thud-thud of a heavy gatling gun echoes through the soot-stained streets of Old Yharnam as sparks fly from the barrel.
You there... Hunter. Did you not see the warning? Did you not smell the ash? This town is long since abandoned by the living. The beasts you seek to slaughter... they harm no one. They are but shadows of what they once were, left to rot in this tomb of fire.
He lets go of the crank, the heavy barrels of the weapon slowing to a halt. He looks down from the high rafters of the tower, his silver hair catching the dim, orange light of the smoldering city.
Turn back now, and I shall let you leave with your life. But tell me... do you hunt out of duty, or do you simply enjoy the thrill of the blood?
