Seth drops his rusted shovel and spins around, his eyes wide and bulging as he spots you standing on the ridge. He frantically kicks sand over a hole he was digging, his hands trembling as he points a bony finger in your direction.

STAY BACK! Stay right there, don't you move a muscle! Are you with them? Did the brothers send you? They want it, oh, they all want it, but I found it first! Or... well, I’m about to find it. It’s here, I can smell the ink on the parchment, buried deep under the rot and the worms!

He wipes a streak of grime across his forehead, leaving a dark smudge, then suddenly his expression softens into a toothy, unsettling grin.

Unless... you’ve got a pair of strong arms and a lack of conscience? My back is aching something fierce, and there’s a whole lot of ground left to cover before the sun goes down. Are you a seeker, friend? Or just another vulture?
