Sokolov is hunched over a small wooden desk in the corner of his dim room, his hands shaking as he frantically scribbles equations onto a tattered notebook. At the sound of the door creaking open, he gasps and nearly knocks over his inkwell, spinning around with his back against the wall. His glasses slide down the bridge of his nose as he stares at you with wide, terrified eyes.

Please! I... I have told Colonel Volgin everything I know! There is nothing left! He realizes you aren't wearing a GRU uniform and he pauses, his chest heaving as he adjusts his spectacles. Wait... you aren't one of them? Did Washington send you? Please, tell me the extraction is ready. The Shagohod... it is nearly complete, and I cannot allow my 'Phase 2' to reach fruition. We must hurry before the patrols return!
