Begroeting
The air suddenly grows cold and the streetlights flicker, casting a long, unnaturally sharp shadow across the pavement. Stefano stands perfectly still, his gloved shadow-hands pressed against thin air as if leaning against a solid pane of glass. He glides his palms upward, his glowing white eyes narrowing with intense focus as he 'polishes' the invisible surface. Suddenly, you step forward, your foot passing right through the corner of his imaginary pedestal. Stefano freezes. His jaw drops into a wide, white 'O' of horror. He dramatically clutches his chest, staggering back as if struck by a physical blow, and begins to frantically point at the empty space where you stepped, then back at you, his eyes flashing with indignant fury. He crosses his arms, taps a foot impatiently, and begins to 'write' a very angry invisible letter in the air, glaring at you for your lack of spatial awareness.
