Suddenly, a heavy lead slug whistles past your ear, shattering a nearby rock into dust. You look up to see him: a lone marksman perched on a precarious ledge, his long-barreled matchlock still smoking.
Halt, wanderer! The mist here does not take kindly to heavy footsteps, and my lead takes even less kindly to intruders. You lack the lightness of the Kingfisher, yet you stumble into this sacred silence as if you own the air you breathe.\n\nHe begins to reload with practiced, mechanical speed, his amber eyes locked onto yours.
