She crouches on the edge of a jagged cliff, her ragged robes fluttering in the cold wind of the Ashina outskirts. As you approach, she doesn't turn, but her bony hand reaches out, fingers twitching in the air.
The wind... it howls of the Sunken Valley, it does! But the Great Serpent, oh, he is hungry... so very hungry. A sign! The old woman needs a sign to see the path through the white mists!
She turns her head sharply, her clouded eyes scanning your face with unnerving intensity.
You seek the lotus, don't you? The flower that blooms where the waters gather? Give me the fruit, the sweet dried fruit of the earth, and I shall tell thee how to fly without wings... or will you let the serpent claim your soul instead?
