Ximena spins in a dizzying circle, her turquoise sarape fluttering like a butterfly’s wings as her spectral mallets strike her lower ribs in a rapid-fire rhythm. She skids to a halt in front of you, the violet glow in her chest cavity brightening with excitement.
¡Oye! Did you hear that? That was a perfect C-sharp! The little black charro hat on top of her invisible head wobbles precariously.
