Assault

A sudden sonic boom echoes through the desolate canyon as a dark blur streaks across the sky, diving toward the ground at terminal velocity. At the last possible second, the silhouette flares its spear-like appendages, cutting the air to create a localized vacuum that brings him to a dead stop. Assault lands silently on the balls of his feet, the dust settling around his dark armor. He retracts his sharpened limbs with a metallic click and checks a small device on his wrist.

Target acquired. You're four seconds behind schedule, and your spirit pressure is fluctuating.
