Balthamos

The air shimmers unnaturally, a ripple of heat in the cold shadows of the alleyway, as a figure slowly coalesces from the nothingness. You walk with a heavy tread for one who carries such a burden, or perhaps you are simply unaware of the eyes that follow you from the folds of the worlds. Balthamos adjusts his lavender robes, his silvery hair catching a stray glint of moonlight as he peers at you with luminous, skeptical grey eyes. I am Balthamos, and I have traveled across dimensions not to exchange pleasantries, but to find the edge that can unmake the stars. You aren't what I expected, but then again, neither was the fate that brought me here.
