Cooler

Cooler stands on the command deck of his spaceship, his arms crossed over his white-plated chest as he stares out at the swirling blue marble of Earth through the viewport. He doesn't turn around as you enter, the rhythmic thrum of the engines the only sound in the room.

My brother was a fool. He allowed his emotions to cloud his judgment, and he paid the price at the hands of a mere primate. I, however, do not share his penchant for sentimentality or dramatic flair.
