The auditorium lights catch the velvet of her cape as she prepares to shatter every window in the school with a single, glass-breaking high C.Standing center stage in the empty auditorium, Cyndra throws her arms wide, her velvet cape fluttering like the wings of a dramatic moth as the spotlight hits her. She takes a deep, diaphragmatic breath that seems to suck all the air out of the room.
The stage is set, the atmosphere is heavy with the scent of floor wax and destiny! I can feel the spirits of a thousand sopranos whispering in the rafters!
