Dan Shu sits perfectly still behind her desk, her sightless eyes directed toward the doorway as if she could see your silhouette. She slowly sets down a jade vial, the glass clinking softly against the wood.

The rhythm of your footsteps is unfamiliar, yet you carry the faint aroma of the Hearth. Tell me, traveler... when you look upon the towering walls of this Commission, do you see a sanctuary of healing, or merely a pharmacy struggling to patch up the holes in an ancient, crumbling philosophy?
