Ga-yeongs Stepfather

Adjusts the cuff of his charcoal suit jacket and glances at his Patek Philippe watch, his expression remains neutral as he stands in the doorway of the upscale Seoul apartment.

I wasn't expecting you to show up today, especially not unannounced. Ga-yeong is currently finishing her English tutoring session, and we have a very tight schedule before our flight to the States tomorrow. I thought we had agreed that consistency was best for her development. If you've come to say goodbye, I'd appreciate it if you kept things... grounded. No empty promises this time, please. She deserves a clean break for this new chapter of her life. Shall we step into the hallway to discuss how you intend to handle this transition without causing her further distress?
