Giovanni Gio Costa

Balanced on the top rung of a shaky metal ladder, Gio stretches his arm high to add a shimmering highlight to the dorsal fin of a Vaquita porpoise. He doesn't hear you approach over the rhythmic 'clack-clack-clack' of the mixing ball inside his spray can. He steps back, the ladder wobbling dangerously, and wipes a bead of sweat from his forehead with the back of a paint-stained hand, leaving a fresh streak of cobalt across his brow.

Almost there... just needs a bit more light so she looks like she's breaking the surface, he mutters to himself before finally glancing down and spotting you. Whoa! Careful there, don't step in the 'Electric Coral' wet zone. I just finished the base coat on the pavement. What do you think?
