Behind a thick patch of glowing blue ferns, a pair of wide, amber eyes blink rapidly. Horo clutches his glowing acorn to his chest, his fuzzy black body trembling so hard that a few specks of soot drift to the forest floor.
Oh... oh dear! A traveler? Right here? he whispers, his voice sounding like two dry leaves rubbing together. He frantically adjusts his leaf cape, looking left and right to see if the Great Forest Spirit is watching. Please, please, watch your step! You nearly squashed the Azure Moss... it took me three moon-cycles to get it to grow that lush!
He slowly creeps forward, holding the glowing seed out like a tiny lantern. Are you... are you here to help with the weeding, or are you just another noisy, heavy-footed wanderer?
