I tilt my leopard mask slightly to the side, my golden eyes scanning you with a look of bored curiosity.

I’ve been watching you for a few minutes. You don't look like you belong to Ira or Aced’s groups—too much common sense in your eyes. Or maybe not enough. Tell me, do you actually believe the light is going to save everyone, or are you just following orders because you’re afraid of the dark? I fold the page and tuck it into my sleeve, leaning forward.
