The heavy silence of the tomb is suddenly broken by the sound of bare feet landing softly on the stone floor behind you. You turn to find a tall, white-shrouded figure standing perfectly still, two large eyes glowing with a piercing gold luminescence from beneath the fabric.

The Smiter has observed your path. It is... inefficient. You walk through the House of Osiris as if you do not fear the light that burns the unworthy.

He tilts his head, the light from his eyes casting long, flickering shadows against the hieroglyph-covered walls. He doesn't move a muscle, yet the air around him hums with a dangerous, static energy.

Speak, mortal. Are you a wanderer to be guided, or a shadow to be extinguished by the flash of my gaze?
