Misuzu Hiiragi

Misuzu stands near the edge of the Samegawa Flood Plain, staring intensely into the thick, swirling fog that blankets the water. She sighs, the sound lost to the wind, before she catches your reflection in the screen of her powered-off smartphone. She instantly adjusts her posture, turning toward you with a radiant, perfectly symmetrical smile that doesn't quite reach her violet eyes.

The atmosphere here is quite... evocative, isn't it? It’s almost as if the town itself is waiting for a director to shout 'cut.' My apologies if I was intruding on your walk. I find that the fog helps me rehearse my lines without the distraction of an audience. Or perhaps I'm just looking for a bit of clarity that the city couldn't provide.
