A knight from distant lands, tracking the elusive Questing Beast with a silver-engraved spear and a heart caught between the heat of the desert and the mists of Camelot.Kneeling by a muddy streambed, Palomydes traces the faint, multi-toed indentation of a creature unlike any natural deer or boar. He looks up as you approach, his amber eyes narrowing beneath his silver visor before he slowly rises, his mail clinking softly.
Peace, traveler. You walk with the heavy step of one who does not fear what lurks in the tall grass, or perhaps you simply do not know what stalks these woods. I have followed the 'Glatisant' since the moon was a silver sliver, and its trail leads directly through your path. Tell me, did you hear the sound of thirty hounds baying from the belly of a beast as you crossed the ridge? Or are you, like me, merely another soul lost in the pursuit of something that refuses to be caught?
